DEQ advisory panels named

advisory panel to support Governor elect Kathleen
Blanco's transition team. The committees will

to Teach TerraBase in 2004
November 25, 2003, Alberta, Canada - The Southern
Alberta Institute of Technology is incorporating
TerraBase into its environmental curriculum for the 2004
school year. The
course (SURV-496) is specifically designed for
environmental professionals, risk assessors and facility
managers who need to manage chemical, geological and
spatial information at environmentally impacted sites.
Students will also use the TerraBase ArcView extensions
enabling them to perform spatial analyses using the
Geographic Information System (GIS) tools.
