CheckMate is a powerful utility developed
by Integrate, Inc. and distributed at no cost to all
TerraBase users as well as any individuals that provide
analytical data for TerraBase. CheckMate uses Integrate's
Level 2 text EDD file format and automatically reviews
the data file for compliance. In addition to file structure
checks, CheckMate performs a series of professional
system data content reviews (such as date and value
range comparisons etc.) and will warn the user (or file
generator) of potential errors found in the data set.
If errors are encountered in a data file, CheckMate
identifies and allows you to correct them,
generate error reports, and save the data in a compliant
L2 format. The CheckMate application allows you to maintain
custom user library lists of valid values shared by
the data user and data generator alike, ensuring that
the L2 formatted files are fully compliant with your
Terrabase database. Both the CheckMate application and
the L2 standard may be downloaded free of charge by
