The TerraBase Field Marshal supports seamless transfer
of analytical data from the field to your TerraBase
program. You can gather well water levels, analytical
sample data, and QC data in the field. For water levels,
you can enter groundwater depth and the date and time
of the reading, as well as temperature, pH, and conductivity.
For analytical data, you can enter the matrix, sample
type, date and time, and up to 10 bottle numbers. The
bottles can be linked to one or more user-defined analysis
types such as volatiles, metals, or pesticides. Bar
code readers are also supported for automatic data entry
of bottle numbers or well names. The QC data entry lets
you enter field duplicates, matrix spikes, and other
quality control sample types.
The easy-to-use data entry interface also computes
water elevations and purge volumes for you. Your field
data can be organized into sampling programs, frequencies
(such as yearly, monthly, or weekly) and specific sampling
events. Field data can be exported to TerraBase or displayed
in several reports. You can also generate a chain of
custody listing all bottles and requested analyses for
a given date.
One of our Business Partners, Entempus, has also
created a Field Data Collection Utility
(EnTer) that provides a spatially enabled
means of collecting field data in a
consistent, electronic format, compatible
with your TerraBase application. For details, click
